Seen in multiple locations:

a safe-for-work advertisement in Brazil for lubricant. Impressive, really.

I don't think it advertises the lubricating capability so much as the pain killing capability it must have for the ad. :)

O.o Wow! That's very impressive lube. I have to admit, the advertising works on me. I want!

Ah, lube . . .
I'll take thirty gallons please.

As for the placement of the post, kinda reminds me of those little crotch-height XXX poles they have in Amsterdam, which is just wrong on oodles of levels.

BTW, [info]underwatercolor, darn cool icons.
I envy.

Re: Ah, lube . . .
Thank you. :) Compliments get you services, if you'd like something? :)

I like your writing, btw. :)

Re: Ah, lube . . .
Aw, thank you! I'm still just beginning to get the hang of LJ, and I find that my writing's getting a bit more confident as I go. Praise helps!

And as for services . . . I totally crave icon services.

My current icon, the tipsy-kitten-in-a-basket has only just recently been borrowed from [info]pumpsnail, who happened to have it on hand. And I like the thought of a tipsy kitten icon, as I have a reference to tipsy kittens in one of my posts, in a bit about my umlaut issues.

But I'd love to have some form of icon that actually played on the concept of "shiny blogs". Especially something animated. Like somebody waxing a big shiny "BLOG" with little "shiny"s sparkling off it. I also wish I had something like this:

but with "shiny" instead of "pretty". (Isn't it cute, though? I don't know who the original creator was, so I don't know who to beg for permission to use it.)

Ooh, or a pack of vegetarian supermodels springing through a window to eat a hapless bygawker as he points and goes "ooh! shiny!" Only that'd be kinda twisted. And tough to make in 40k or less . . .

But, really, if there's anything you spot in my blog that makes you think "Oh, I could make something that'd fit that," I'd be delighted to see it, animated or not.

Oh! See, I haven't actually praised your writing, I don't think, but I enjoy it. It's really funny. :)

If anyone can make you that, the degree to which it would be appropriate is just... amazing. I want to _see_ that! Icon or otherwise, actually.

Icon or otherwise???
Well now, I don't know about "or otherwise." I mean, a live action staging might be painful. Although, if we could replace me with a stunt double just before the carnivorous bit, I suppose I wouldn't mind being in a brief live-action scene with a few supermodels.

And maybe Uma Thurman.
Ooh-mmm-ahhh Thurman.
Now there's a girl with mithril buttocks.

Heh! No, I mean larger sized vs icon, or something in motion!

Either way, the effort deserved some props. Sorry to take so long to say so, but you've got a little huglet of a blurb on my blog.

Re: Ah, lube . . .
Erm. Yes, well.. I'm not always this slow, I assure you. :)

Sorry about the delay. It's your very own... umm... something. :)

It'll look really terrible on a dark background. If it's a problem, let me know? :)

Indeed, that must lube from her pelvis to the her diaphragm! That would just be frightening. Hilarious ad!

Doesn't work visually for me
She is too clearly sitting behind the post. They should have photoshopped her forward a bit, so that it really looked like, well, what it's supposed to look like!

Wow! Now that's one amazing lube..

I bet it has other uses too - for example - drilling various types of wells.

I saw this about a year ago. Amazing how long it took for people to figure it out. :)
